Beginning with PY 2027 USA Managed Care Organization has formed The Accountable Alliance ACO, which follows the new Long-term Enhanced ACO Design (LEAD) Model. The LEAD Model replaces CMS’ REACH Model and is a 10-year program that provides for greater inclusivity of physician practices, including rural locations and specialists. Initially focused on the State of Texas, The AA ACO will eventually expand to a Nationwide footprint.
CMS has stated that all Traditional Medicare beneficiaries will be attributed to an ACO by 2030. The Accountable Alliance ACO provides an opportunity for physician practices who have been excluded from other Medicare ACOs to now participate.
