George E. Bogle, founder and Chairman Emeritus of USA Managed Care Organization passed away November 26, 2022

George was born January 12, 1938 in Henderson, Kentucky. At the age of three his family moved to Houston, Texas where George graduated from John H. Reagan High School. Following graduation, he attended University of Texas where he met Nancy Byrd Tennent who would become his wife of 64 years. George was a true pioneer in the Insurance and Managed Healthcare arenas. He began his career in Houston, Texas as an insurance agent. In 1965 he moved his young family to Phoenix and opened an insurance brokerage, George Bogle and Associates. Despite a grueling work schedule, George found time to coach Pop Warner football and led his youth teams to numerous undefeated seasons and multiple Arizona State Championships.

In 1985 George founded USA Managed Care Organization, which would eventually become the largest privately-held PPO in the U.S. with offices in five states, and operations in 42. Blessed with a knack for innovation and spotting business opportunities, his companies became leaders across the health care industry, working with more than 130 health care insurance providers. George retired in December of 2021 as Founder, President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of USA Managed Care Organization and USA Senior Care Network, as well as Managing Member of Bogle Family Realty, a commercial real estate management and development company he founded in 1999, with properties in Arizona and Texas. Even in his retirement George loved going into the office and did so up until just weeks before he passed.

George was an inspiration to those who surrounded him. His tireless work ethic and dedication will live on in the employees of USA Managed Care Organization and its associated businesses. We thank him for what he has created and honor his achievements in life and in business.

George E. Bogle was survived by his wife and partner Nancy Bogle, son G. Michael Bogle and daughter Katie Bogle Levitt (Larry) as well his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
